Touring Kayak Lessons - 2013
TOURING KAYAK LESSONS

Introduction to Sea Kayaking
Key components of this course include: Introduction to the kayak and safety equipment, review of Canadian small craft safety regulations, tides/current information, basic paddling strokes and self rescue procedures. This is a great introduction to the fundamentals of ocean paddling. Kayak courses will be arranged outside our listed programs for groups of 4 or more. 

7 hr course; 9am-4pm, includes kayak rental, safety equipment, and wetsuit rental.  Starting at $135.  for dates and availability contact Natural West Coast Adventures:  604.535.7985.

Kayak Fishing Lessons
This 7 hour program is designed for anyone that is interested in getting into Kayak Fishing.  Participants will be introduced to the angling kayak and you will soon see why this activity is a great way to fish and have fun on the water.  You will learn about kayak fishing gear, tides and currents, launching and landing, paddling techniques and ways of improving your chance of experiencing success while fishing.

Course runs 9am-4pm, includes the kayak (Wilderness System Tarpon 160 fishing kayak w/rudder), safety gear, mooching rod and tackle.  Participants must have a valid salt water license (for the dates of the course) or annual salt water license to participate.
