The Acadia
Scout was designed from scratch to fit kids from 8-12 years old,
and not just as a first boat, but as one that could grow with them.
To make sure it was right, Perception recruited a cadre of kids
who put a series of prototypes through their paces. With their input,
the Acadia Scout is destined to be a classic. No more bumping elbows
on a hull that is too-wide. No more sitting on a pfd just to see
over a cockpit that is too-high. Just an excellent accompaniment
to a very popular line of Perception's recreational kayaks.
