Old Town's patented Discovery 169 is definitely ready for the long haul. More than anything, the craft defines CONFIDENCE: that you're paddling with PolyLink3™, the hull by Old Town Canoe that bounces back; that you've chosen a canoe ready for your own capabilities on a local lake or in remote whitewater.

Dependable, stable, maneuverable, and highly predictable when the waters are not, the Discovery 169's deep-V entry compliments a high-volume hull that works with - not against - heavy loads. Outstanding PolyLink3™ sandwich construction means a glossy surface to glance over rocks, improved stiffness, and plenty of buoyancy.

What is PolyLink 3™?:
PolyLink3™ is a three-layer roto-molded process. This technology allows Old Town to produce a stiffer craft than traditional single-layered canoes and omits the need for a keel. Because the foam core provides such exceptional stiffness, less material is needed in the hull so weight is kept low. The core also provides built-in flotation and insulation from cold and noise.

• black vinyl gunwales
• roto-molded decks with grab handles
• molded seats (black)
• stained ash carrying yoke and thwart
