This compact tandem kayak has a shallow arch hull with a fairly hard chine resulting in a very stable kayak. The kayak, even with its modest rocker, is quite maneuverable as the shallow arch provides enough flotation to make the small amount of rocker very effective. For it modest length, this kayak will carry a reasonable amount of gear. The Kerama has our smaller size cockpit rim but is surprisingly accommodating once you are sitting in it. The rudder deployment lines are routed to the front of the stern paddler for ease of access.
