Western Canoeing & Kayaking in Abbotsford represents the cutting edge of paddlesports on the westcoast of Canada. We have a strong team of individuals focused on meeting the needs of our clients. Applicants must have experience in both canoeing and sea kayaking. Past retail experience and outgoing personality preferred.

Job requirements:

• Outgoing personality
• Ability to sell
• Have knowledge you can share: canoes, kayaks and related gear (training provided)
• Must have a valid DL and passport
• Must be able to work Saturdays thru August
• Must be able to lift 35lbs

Job will include:

• Assisting clients
• Loading and unloading customer canoes/kayaks
• Showroom maintenance; dusting, vacuuming
• Showroom stocking/pricing

Other responsibilities may include:

• Invoicing/cash
• Assisting at on water demo days
• Rentals
• Inventory
