Telkwa

The Telkwa ("where the waters meet") came about as a collaboration between a boat designer (Steve Schleicher) and a kayak shop owner (Don Lockwood). The result is a kayak which paddles well, looks pleasing and which has quickly become Nimbus' most popular model. The Telkwa is a long, higher volume boat, but it is surprisingly nimble and suits a wide variety of paddlers.
Due to the popularity of the original Telkwa, the line has been expanded. The Telkwa HV is for larger paddlers or those requiring even more storage capacity, while the Telkwa Sport (shown here) is for smaller paddlers wanting a tighter fitting, slightly narrower kayak.
